Adobe Photoshop Services

Adobe wanted to release a proprietary photo printing service to go along with additional services they wanted to offer for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements users. We were asked to develop the overall workflow and user-requirements as well as the visual interface design and brand identity. While the service paralleled many aspects of other online photo services, the challenge was to make it an Adobe product where the “prosumer” or Adobe User would feel at home.

CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: Develop a best-of-breed online photo sharing/printing service that is on par if not better than the competition. Brand it, clearly, as an Adobe experience and ensure that Adobe pro-users feel comfortable.

After studying existing services very closely, we developed an optimal workflow for users that integrated specifically with Adobe Products. We developed an interface that also paralleled some of the new UI design being done through the Adobe UI group and extended that key vocabulary to the service interface design we were building. Finally, we tested and refined the process as well as the detailed design to make the final implementation simple and very familiar to other Adobe products.
