AVAYA
AVAYA Desktop VOIP System Controller

AVAYA Product Management recognized that the interface for their VOIP phone systems was hard to use, inefficient, and dated. We worked to establish a new interface architecture that prioritized common tasks and improved the efficiency of use. Then, we developed a new visual language - modeled after their new phone design style - successfully extending the brand to digital products.

CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: Improve an otherwise overwhelming, standard-Windows looking user-experience for AVAYA's line of VOIP phone systems. Develop a visual experience that brings AVAYA to the level of the competition and beats them.

We spent time with actual users of the systems in order to best determine the way THEY wanted the interface to work for them. We honed those ideas into a simplified interface that could change size and function based on the user's current task. We built upon AVAYA's awarding winning product desgin - and established a visual interface "brand language" that extended that design to their digital products.
