CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: Develop an administratable application that a designer would want to use and make the presentation of the information attractive, yet not get in the way of the content. At the time, there weren't online services available that offer tools like these that you can just sign up for and manage your own custom templates. This was going to have to be custom-created - especially so we could develop an administrative interface that was as simple and visually pleasing to use as the site itself.

We built Clement's site to make it easy to first see his breadth of work. The browsable portfolio grid became a central design hub to design around. From there, the popup templates provide for ample room to showcase a case study. The blog also focused on simplicity - just allowing Clement to post what he felt is consistently relevant in the items he writes about. An easy-to-glance through image column and a synopsis of text. Most critical, though, was the administration interface - because being able to add and edit content easily will ultimately define how much the site gets used.
