Light & Motion asked Zaudhaus to help re-envision the brand for their underwater camera housing division. The brand seeks to satisfy professional underwater videographers and new enthusiasts alike. The brand needed to be able to address both groups. We developed a simple, editorial style that engages users to investigate and learn about the unique qualities of the products; while also celebrating and showcasing the beauty of the product design.

CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: One of the most sophisticated and well-designed camera housings for underwater photography, Light & Motion had a brand image that came no where close to the quality of their products. They approached us with the challenge to help make their brand appealing to both professionals and newbies. Certainly the largest challenge was creating a brand that could both showcase the spectacular product design while also making it engaging and appealing to such a wide audience - easy to understand for the newbie, and sophisticated enough for the professional.

After many rounds of exploration in visual design and layout - we focused on creating great photography that could show off the many details of the product design - while also creating a dramatic, but simple editorial design approach that made reading about the features and use of the product simple and fun. While the design we developed was very complex to code, the simplistic and very readable style tested well with the target audience - and allowed the product to shine.
