LimeLife
Rachel Ray and Corporate Mobile sites

Early on in the start-up of mobile platform company, LimeLife, we were asked to help begin designing the mobile user experience for both LimeLife and one of their first clients - Rachel Ray. We worked closely with their Engineers to establish a consistent mobile design platform. For the visual design we extended both the RR brand as well as the corporate LimeLife brand to the final sites.

CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: Similar to many companies that we work with, there was no set infrastructure or platform directly in place yet. We were challenged surely with the requirement to design two compelling mobile (WAP) sites, but most critical was to help specify some guidelines for how future sites would also be designed and organized.

We worked on the project in the same manner we do all our application development projects - beginning with defining the core requirements and content, organizing and creating conceptual models for the user-interface, then designing a visual experience to support that content; and finally executing on the design and deliverables. It was a very methodical process - and it needed to be, as there was a tremendous amount of complication involved with developing a series of sites that could be rendered correctly on such a wide vareity of handsets (500+).
