Rated one of the best resorts in the world, Post Ranch Inn approached us to help them evolve their marketing and guest materials to the “next level.” With rooms costing $1000 per night on average, photocopied calendars and other documents on simple bond paper wasn’t accurately representing the brand. We worked with operations staff at the Ranch to both design an upgraded look as well as items that worked with the operations staff’s needs.

The Challenge:
Take the brand of a world-renound resort and bring it up to the next level of quality - to better match the experience that guests expect.
We focused on highlighting the core values that the resort has - through better quality print materials and leveraging the recognizable characteristics of the location. One of the most simple but effective things we did is emphasize the wide expanse of the location by making all the pieces extremely horizontal in format. We used panoramic photos and brochures that opened up in landscape fashion rather than vertical. We worked with local artisans to create things like the new in-room compendium binder out of local leather in a gorgeous format. Everything was looked at individually to see ways to make the piece match the memorable experience guests would have. With the Web site, we worked to craft a memorable experience as well - with a variety of areas of the site that could be explored - not just browsed.
