Soonr chose Zaudhaus to help develop an innovative approach to evolve their current back-up system and make it even more useful to customers. People create and work with files more than anything else; so, we helped extend the service to offer mutliple integrated tools to help you be more productive in the way you create and manage those files. CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: With file backup and syncronization companies arriving and dying within weeks at a time, we realized quickly that the story and innovations we were exploring had to go beyond that. We looked at what people were doing and saw an opportunity to help small and medium busineses manage files and collaborate on a medium scale wihtout a huge and complex system. Simple backup and simple collaboration.

We established an information architecture for the application that could easily separate the meta level of a user's files from a customized set of folders the user could create - Projects. The Dashboard would summarize all the relevant activiy happening at any given time so when you brought up the dashboard, you always saw what was most relevant. For example, if you'd just finished working on a report and some supportive Excel files and then closed your laptop to jump on a plane - those files would be the first to show up when you turned on your iPhone as you sat down in the plane's seat. The Dashboard shows more than just the most recent files - the system monitors for multiple activity types and displays the most relevant based on what the user is doing.
“Zaudhaus has helped Soonr evolve from a technology play to a world-class user experience – which is rapidly becoming a competitive edge.”
