A collaboration between the venerable Los Angeles sushi chef, Nozawa and former CEO of Sapient, Jerry Greenberg, we worked with Clement Mok to develop this innovative restaurant concept; currently rolling out additional locations around California. The traditional sushi eatery combines the old-world sushi quality that Nozawa is famous for along with a new-found accessibility and educational bend to the eating experience.

CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: Nozawa and Jerry wanted to bring a super-efficient, high-quality sushi restaurant to a larger segment of people than Nozawa was currently serving through his Studio City location. We were brought the concept and asked to participate in straetegy and branding sessions with the larger team. After that contribution we moved forward - working with Clement Mok to develop the identity and follow-on collateral materials as well as support the interior design efforts.

We come up with a concept to deliver on-screen digitial menus, served by a single computer - allowing for live editing of the mneu. We also developed a unique, all recyclable to-go package resembling a traditional bento box that uses no glue.
