Timebridge
Meeting Planner

The entrepeneurs at Timebridge had a brilliant vision to simplify the complex process of arranging meetings. Through automation techniques and a thoughtful, automated planning a system, their system could make meeting planning easy. In order to make the process easy, though, they needed us to help make the process as easy to understand as possible yet still be informative and flexible to meet the complex needs of the user.

CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: The problem with scheduling meetings is certainly complex - and it was presented to us as a very complex problem to make simple. Our focus was to make it as automated a process as possible, yet still provide the flexibility to users in order to allow them a system that can be manipulated easily to match their work-schedules or personal whims. We needed to make the automated processes nearly invisible and succeed on users' expectations that the system could adjust to their requirements on the fly.

We ultimately developed an add-on technology component to Microsoft Outlook and a Web-based version that could be accessed through any IE browser. The Outlook component needed to blend as much as possible with the consistent environment inside Outlook without adding much. The Web version needed to be a completely functional version of the client-app, yet with a distinctive brand as well as extended functionality. We were successful in creating a system that provided a complete model for the solution that supported all the goals.
