Yahoo! 360 Concepts Exploration

We were asked to explore concepts for improving the usefulness of Yahoo! 360. User-feedback and market trends pointed to a few areas that warranted exploration. Improving the presence of the user profile, as well as a simple set-up approach and more engaging layouts, in general for the service were a few areas we had planned to explore. Our solutions were ultimately put into user-testing.

CHALLENGE + SOLUTION
The Challenge: Working with Yahoo, the challenge was to really come up with some creative and innovative thinking. Since our role was primariy focused on developing concepts for the Y!360 interface, we were somewhat buffered from some of the new delays that were put into motion in Sausalito. We also knew that a lot was in flux. It was the same for almost all of our other clients.

Our solutions for Yahoo on the 360 Project were quite exploratory. We created a great deal of exhbits that juxtaposed different modules with different amounts of priority and proximity to other objects. We developed a quick-start guide for the 360 setup (one thing we found was that people really didn't know what to expect at their site anymore.
“Zaudhaus was able to bring a balance of design work and out of the box creative thinking to our redesign project… they helped us view things in a new light and move toward achieving our goals.”
