Zaudhaus

We are an innovation and design studio for start-up and fast-growth companies that want to win in new markets.
  • FreeMonee

FreeMonee brings together customers of financial institutions with thousands of stores and restaurants to create the world’s first gift network. The network allows people to discover new stores and restaurants, for free—no strings attached. Zaudhaus was explained the concept and then asked to help develop a Web site that could answer questions that potential users of the service might have. A clarification on this strategy was that the banking partners would be the ones first introducing the service to their customers – and they would join through their marketing efforts. The FreeMonee site would exist for those seeking further answers beyond what their banks could answer. Our approach focused on keeping the concept simple and providing simple diagram graphics that illustrated the process of the technology.

  • Motista

The Motista Consumer Connection Environment enables marketers to understand how to best motivate consumers to act, on the front side of programs and campaigns, as well as what connections they can best leverage vs. competitors. We were asked to develop a completely revamped user-interface (as well as update the brand identity) for this revolutionary research technology.

  • Follow Your Heart Rebranding

With more than 200 items ranging from dressings to cheese, Follow Your Heart came to Zaudhaus to help them expand their brand to appeal to larger supermarket shelves and a more mass-market appeal. We worked to develop a new identity, packaging, Web site, and supporting collateral & advertising.

  • Chromosome Console

Zaudhaus was asked to review an existing application that had most of the functionality already built – but needed help to streamline the basic user interface and visual information presented. We spent some initial effort restructuring the filter controls in the left pane and then the bulk of our energies re-visualizing different data elements in the center. We also worked to define how they should extend their newly-created corporate identity into the product.

  • Roost Social Media Application

Roost began as a social media tool for real estate professionals as an auto-publishing tool that sent content to Facebook Fan pages. Realtors could use Roost to help source useful content for clients – and on a regular, recurring basis. When Roost decided to adjust their strategy and speak to a broader audience, we were asked to help strategize on functionality as well as completely overhaul the interface design.

  • X1 Social – Deep Social Search

X1, an incubated IdeaLab company approached Zaudhaus to help them craft a new product interface for an innovative product concept – a product that could search deep into social streams and allow users to have robust searching capabilities over the content of those streams. We worked with the talented product teams at X1 to refine the feature requirements and design an innovative interface for X1 Social. It captures all your social streams in one place so you can see what you missed and find what you need.

  • Rebranding Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf knew their packaging and collateral just did not measure up to the competition. Seeking to be that ultimate “third place” in consumer’s lives, they asked us to find a way to stand out and still stay true to their long history of simply the best coffee and tea. Our solution highlights that hand-crafted quality and richness associated with their high-quality products made simple.

  • 3PAR Purchased for $2.35 Billion

On September 27, 2010 Hewlett Packard completed it’s purchase of 3PAR for a rather surprising sum. This was the end of an incredible project that we worked on for 3PAR that began two years earlier. Two summers previous, I received a call from 3PAR’s Director of Marketing asking if I’d be interested in working on a project to help take 3PAR’s brand “to the next level.” With an agressive plan to deliver a more unified brand presence in the market and “truly stand out” amongst the competition, we began a parallel path of building new marketing materials and developing a new energy at 3PAR. At the acquisition, HP specifically called out the attractiveness of the 3PAR brand and it’s respect in the market place as one of the key reasons for the acquisition.
